Description

Sprint covers are designed to offer flexible and robust solutions for a variety of needs. Available in different sizes, the Sprint model fits specific needs and includes:

  • 6.20 x 8.50 m
  • 8.20 x 10.50 m
  • 8.20 x 12.50 m
  • 10.20 x 10.50 m
  • 10.20 x 12.50 m

Each size has specific characteristics that vary according to size and load capacity, ensuring optimal solutions for every type of event or application. Below are the detailed model specifications, with particular attention to the differences between the different sizes available.

Technical specifications

Load-bearing metal structure, with hoisting system by means of winches, completely independent of the stage, with the following characteristics:

  • Materials: high-strength steel and anticorodal aluminium alloy for maximum strength and lightness. Assembly and disassembly operations are quick and easy.
  • Protective treatment: sandblasting, metallisation and grey paint.
  • Base supports: 4 steel, vertically drilled for adjusting the aluminium column and compensating for any unevenness of the support surface, complete with stabilising feet.
  • Manual lifting winch: housed on the base by means of pull-out pins. Variable capacity depending on the size of the enclosure.
  • Supporting columns: 4 in anticorodal aluminium alloy, with variable heights depending on the roof, designed to create a sloping roof and allow water to run off. On the upper end of each column is fixed the pulley support for the sliding of the lifting rope.
  • Sliding trolleys: 4 in steel, connected to the hoist winch by means of the certified anti-turn steel cable, with the function of raising or lowering the roof. The pins inserted in each column allow the trolley to achieve a minimum level from the ground for the assembly of roof components and a maximum default level for The performances on the stage below.
  • Lattice beams: various configurations of high-strength steel perimeter beams, suitable to support the weight of the lighting system, anchored to the trolleys by bayonet and plug joints.
  • Support of the cover: anti-corrosion aluminium alloy beams in support in the seats of the beams, secured by plugs.
  • Cover: PVC class 2, flame retardant, fixed to the structure with rope through the appropriate rings of the strips or with elastic hooks for short-term events.
    The towel is complete with mantovana on all sides.
  • Load capacity suspended on perimeter beams: 50 kg/m (6.20 x 8.50 m - 8.20 x 10.50 m and 10.20 x 10.50 m) or 30 kg/m (8.20 x 12.50 m and 10.20 x 12.50 m).
  • Wind resistance: 28 m/s.
  • Reference standards: D.M. 17 January 2018 (NTC 2018), EN 13782 and EN 1090-1.
  • Accompanying documentation: technical report, declaration of conformity, declaration of performance (DoP) with CE label and user and maintenance manual.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT SIZES

Sprint cover 6.20 x 8.50 m:

  • Column height: front 5.50 m, rear 5.00 m.
  • Manual winch load: 900 kg.
  • Lattice beams: triangular front and rear, flat side.
     

Sprint cover 8.20 x 10.50 m / 8.20 x 12.50 m:

  • Column height: front 6.00 m, rear 5.30 m.
  • Manual winch capacity: 1.150 kg.
  • Lattice beams: triangular perimeter sections.
     

Sprint 10.20 x 10.50 m/ 10.20 x 12.50 m:

  • Column height: front 6.85 m, rear 6.00 m.
  • Manual winch capacity: 1.150 kg.
  • Lattice beams: perimeter with triangular section. Addition of a central beam to support the cover.
Accessories and options
  • Ballasts and anchoring devices (see dedicated page), to be calculated according to wind speed, structure use and position.
  • Class 2 flameproof PVC tarpaulins for stage wings and backdrops (fitted with tracks and accessories).
  • Electric motors equipped with control unit. Attention: electric motors are subject to current regulations as if they were bridge cranes and a yearly check is required.
