The Selvoline® grandstand is a modular structure with a steel frame, featuring tiered uprights resting on height-adjustable feet to compensate for any ground unevenness. The posts and diagonal bars of the load-bearing frames are made of square steel tubing, while the steps are made of press-bent anti-slip sheet metal, securely attached to the load-bearing frames through a safety locking mechanism.

The entire structure is reinforced with vertical bracing tubes arranged in a crossed pattern (St. Andrew’s Cross), fixed to the frames at the rear. Additionally, the grandstand is further stiffened on the horizontal plane to ensure stability.

The assembly of the grandstand is simple, fast, and safe, optimizing installation time.

• Structure made of steel with a hot-dip galvanised anti-corrosion treatment;
• equipped with fire-resistant wooden benches (Compactta model) or fire-resistant green polypropylene seats (Marathon model) for spectator comfort;
• each module has a 180 cm spacing;
• the spacing of the distribution aisles in each module is 132 cm;
• the riser height of the steps is 40 cm;
• the depth and height vary depending on the model;
• the seat spacing is 45 cm;
• complete with side railings, side gates, and rear railings;
• distribution aisles for the public with anti-slip surfaces (one aisle for up to 7 modules; two aisles for 8 to 15 modules; and three aisles for up to 20 modules);
• each frame is equipped with an M8 thread for earthing clamp;
• capacity: vertical load 600 kg/m² and horizontal load resistance on the railings 200 kg/m

The Selvoline grandstands are designed and built in compliance with the following current regulations:

• D.M. January 17, 2018 (NTC 2018) "Technical standards for construction";
• EN 1993-1-1 EUROCODE 3 "Design of steel structures";
• EN 13200 "Spectator facilities" (replacing the withdrawn UNI 9217 standard);
• EN 1090-1 "Execution of steel and aluminum structures."

In accordance with the above regulations, Selvolina complies with the following requirements:

• It is certified ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, EN 1090-1, allowing product marking (EXC3);
• It is qualified as a Steel Processing Center by the Central Technical Service.

The following are provided with the structure:

• Overall drawing;
• Flame-retardant certificate for the seating benches;
• Technical report signed by a qualified technician, including the practical verification of operating loads with the following values:
  • Vertical imposed load, category C5, uniformly distributed at 600 kg/m²;
  • Horizontal load equal to 6% of the vertical imposed load, with permissible deformation of 1/200 (ratio between deflection and span or appropriate cantilever);
  • Resistance to horizontal push on the railings of 200 kg/m.
• Declaration of conformity, Declaration of performance (DoP), and CE label;
• User and maintenance manual, including assembly phases and spare parts manual.
